New Kids on the Block
These two are Araucana chickens. Right away, I've noticed something helpful at that link. After observing for quite awhile, the darker of the two is extremely aggressive about pecking at a place on the other one's back, just above the tailfeathers. It's already a bloody spot. And I notice as well that the darker one has a scarlike area where it seems that he's been treated the same. Hmph. Will have to keep an eye on this situation and hope it'll stop soon.

And these two are supposedly a cross between Araucanas and Buff Orpingtons. All are about 2-3 months old and should start laying eggs in about two months. I'm guessing they should start laying by the first of November if things go well.

The Araucanas have bluish legs! This will be fun to watch them grow. Right now, they just have little pink nubs on their heads where the combs will eventually grow. So far, they stick together in pairs by breed.

Punky Princess Arm Warmers
These arm warmers I am wearing in this picture are hand made! I made them myself with no help at all. They are so easy. Here's how to make them!
What you need
Scissors
Old tights
How to make them
1. Cut the tights a few inches away from the top.
2. cut about half and inch away from the heel.
3. Put it on.
4. poke your thumb out.
5. grasp that area and fold in in half. Cut that.
6. Repeat with the other one.
7. Wear!
These are super easy!
Ice creations
I'm kind of an artist- but it's with ice! I don't carve it- I take a thing of water and then I put something in it to freeze. I have a new creation- one I made with some cut up peppers and a baby baby pepper. It's really cool and in the picture you can see it as the one with quite a few cut up things in it. It's really cool. I took a glove and put a banana pepper (and of course filled it with water!) and stuck it in the freezer overnight and the next day me and my dad took the glove off of the ice and there was the banana pepper smack dab in the middle of it!

Dali- The Persistence Of Memory
This is a really cool painting (I think). I saw it in a art book for kids. And he got his idea from a melting Camembert Cheese!
